ミャンマーシルク振興イベントにてアウン・サン・スーチー様をおもてなし
Welcome Ms.Aung San Suu Kyi with the tea ceremony in the Myanmar Silk Promortion Event.
10月8日「ミャンマーシルク振興イベント」（国際機関日本アセアンセンター主催）の開幕式にアウン・サン・スー・チー様がお出ましくださいました。
大変光栄なことに、株式会社大松さまとザニー株式会社さまのご協力、渋谷ザニー氏プロデュースによるエキシビションにて、立礼席のおもてなしをさせていただきました。
On 8th Oct., Ms.Aung San Suu Kyi attended the opening ceremony of the Myanmar Silk Promortion Event facilitated by the ASEAN-Japan Center.
It was our honor to welcome her with the tea ceremony.

アウン・サン・スー・チー様は、お美しく本当に素敵な御方でした。
お茶道具の皆具の浅黄交趾のお色と七宝宝尽くしの文様にご興味をお持ちくださり、ご質問くださいました。
She was so beautiful and nice.
She was interested in the color and pattern of some tea utensils.
The color is “ASAGI”. It means faint bule or faint turquoise.
The pattern is “SHICHIHOU-TAKARAZUKUSHI”. It is one of traditional pattern in Japan.
桑原宗典先生は大松さまプロデュースのスー・チーシルク*のお着物を着て、お点前をさせていただきました。
とてもふっわふわの絹、着心地良く、赤ちゃんの肌の様な柔らかさです。
During the event, Soten Kuwahara (president of Hana-cha-bi tea school) wore KIMONO (Japanese traditional dress) made with Myanmar’s silk named “Aung San Suu Kyi Silk” which was produced by DAIMATSU (a KIMONO maker in Japan).
The silk was so soft and comfortable.
日本の着物、茶道、花道…などの伝統文化が、国際交流の場で少しでもお役に立ちますよう励みます！！
お茶一碗が世界の平和に繋がりますように！
We keep making efforts to support international exchange through Japanese traditional culture such as Japanese KIMONO, the tea ceremony, the Japanese art of flower arrangement and so on!!
